Well I have been wondering what value I can add to my blog for everyone to use and I realized that the very first ebook that I downloaded was Brad Callen’s Search Engine Optimization made easy. I was instantly addicted and it sent be spiraling rapidly down the IM path, only about 3 months ago.

Before reading this book my husband and I had a business printing other peoples photos onto canvas, we had a web presence, as well as a retail shop front, but paid a fortune in google and advertising. When we had used our daily paid clicks our website was nowhere to be seen and we were always miffed about why and knew we were missing a key element! Reading SEO Made Easy was like a light turning on.

Since  then we completely re-branded and have re-written the content of the website and now rank consistently on the 2nd and 3rd page, in a few short months. It is a very competitive industry, in Australia with the first page almost all paid adds and the major competition having over 1700 back links. With the knowledge we now have we will continue to rank higher & higher and hopefully dominant the market in time.

I also recommend Brad Callen’s Directory Submitter, awesome really, you can download and trial it for free. It allowed me to submit to up to 350 directories for free. This was a great leg up in getting our canvas printing site up towards page 1 in the major keyword canvas prints. Some of the directories ask for payment, I just skipped these ones and moved onto the next one. It is up to you if you want to pay or not. There are advantages in paying as you will get accepted into the directory quicker. I went down the free path simply because I didn’t have the spare cash to pay for a bunch of directories.
